TODAY’S DEVOTION
DAILY DEVOTIONAL | THE LORD WILL LEAD
DEVOTIONS
Many teachers most especially in elementary school will admit that they really do not enjoy trips where children are allowed to go out of controlled environment for example visit a the zoo or a museum. in most cases it’s the same feeling even with the help of willing parents, The challenge been that it can be difficult to control young children outside of the controlled environment of the classroom. Children have the zeal to explore and so excited that they aren’t always mindful of their leader.
When we look at the news, happenings world around us it is easy to get discouraged. But David encouraged himself in the Lord. I Samuel 30:6 this is a reminder that no matter how bad things may appear, our God is on the throne! or everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 1 John 5
Learning from the Old Testament book of Micah. The people of God were extremely weary and greatly discouraged. But according to the bible Micah reminded them (and God reminds us still today through his word) that God opposes the wicked and cares for the downtrodden. In addition, he teaches us how to live in right relationship with the only true God.
As we study this month the Old Testament prophetic book, we pray that you will:
We heed the prophet’s call to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God Genesis 17:1 “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless …
Worship the Lord God who is faithful to His covenant no matter what, and keeps his word 1 Corinthians 1:9 KJV God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, remove idols and false securities so we may know, trust, and rely on Him Proverbs 3 Verses 5 to 6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
