Men in the bible who did great exploits for God are products of divine encounters, God loves to visit men, just as he did in the garden in the cool of the day Genesis 3:8, Now God lives in us Colossian 1: 27. The psalmist had so much concern as to why does God love visiting us that he stated;
“I look up at your macro-skies, dark and enormous, your handmade sky-jewelry,
Moon and stars mounted in their settings. Then I look at my micro-self and wonder,
Why do you bother with us? Why take a second look our way? Psalm 8:3-4 (MSG)
God loves to visit us because he loves us make this your daily consciousness expecting Him to visit as you carry on with your daily activities this post deals with the 7 divine visitations in the bible showing the seven-way God visit man.
Visitation by God coming Himself
Many believers have experienced God coming to them in person just as Apostle John did in the isle of Patmos and he said “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid” Revelation 1:17 NIV.
Daniel also experienced divine visitation by God and he said “9-10 “As I was watching all this, “Thrones were set in place and The Old One sat down. His robes were white as snow, his hair was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, its wheels blazing. A river of fire poured out of the throne.
Thousands upon thousands served him, tens of thousands attended him.
The courtroom was called to order, and the books were opened.
11-13 “I kept watching. The little horn was speaking arrogantly. Then, as I watched, the monster was killed and its body cremated in a roaring fire. The other animals lived on for a limited time, but they didn’t really do anything, had no power to rule. My dream continued.
13-14 “I saw a human form, a son of man, arriving in a whirl of clouds. He came to The Old One and was presented to him. He was given power to rule—all the glory of royalty. Everyone—race, color, and creed—had to serve him. His rule would be forever, never ending. His kingly rule would never be replaced. Daniel 7:9-14 (MSG).
God will visit you today in your marriage, jobs, business, family and everything you do in Jesus Name Amen.
Visitation By Sending Christ
God sending Jesus Christ to the world to die for the sins of mankind redeeming us unto God, from the curse of sin and death Galatian 3:13 is another remarkable divine visitation.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 NIV
Visitation by sending us the Holy Spirit (The Advocate).
Oh! Sweet Holy Spirit Gods precious gift to mankind to help, comfort us in all things, to dwell in us and fill us up continually.
“But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send. John 16:7 NIV.
God sent the Holy Spirit as promised as “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them” Acts 2:4 BSB
Visitation by sending his Angels
14 Are not all the angels ministering spirits sent out [by God] to serve (accompany, protect) those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:14 (AMP).
Angels are sent out by God to serve, accompany, protect you in everything you do, live your life in that consciousness knowing that the life of a believer is full of encounters daily in God
Visitation by Prophets
Divine visitation by the prophet Elisha to the window
“8 Then the word of the Lord came to him: 9 “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.” 10 So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, “Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?” 11 As she was going to get it, he called, “And bring me, please, a piece of bread.”
12 “As surely as the Lord your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it—and die.”
13 Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”
15 She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. 16 For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.
So God still uses his prophets today to bless our lives, Glory to God!!
Visitation by Dreams and Visions
God still visit his people just as it was revealed in the bible, revealing out them secrets, walk-in that consciousness as a Christian that your night times are for the revelation of secrets, secrets business ideas, strategies to move everything around you forward in Jesus Mighty Name Amen!
“28 but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these:
29 “As Your Majesty was lying there, your mind turned to things to come, and the revealer of mysteries showed you what is going to happen. 30 As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind. Daniel 2:28-30 (NIV)
Visitation by his Word
Knowledge insight and revelation of mysteries can come by the Word of God just as Prophet Jeremiah revealed “The word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:4
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12, KJV
I personally believe all these visitations are possible to the believer in Christ Jesus today; our lives are full of divine visitations by the power of the Holy Spirit. Glory to God!
